46th Annual Maple Leaf Festival

Description

This eight-day festival started in the late 1960s as a marching-band competition. Today, the annual Maple Leaf Festival draws nearly 80,000 visitors to Carthage. The week preceding the one-day finale, which includes with the largest parade in Southwest Missouri, is filled with a variety of citywide activities including arts and crafts vedors, a family fun walk, beauty pageants, baby and toddler contests, and lip-sync competition.
