On March 6 and 7, 2012, at Whiteface Mountain, located in Wilmington, New
York, the New York State Troopers Ski Team will host the 18th Annual
Northeastern Police Ski Championships. Two days of alpine ski racing and
festivities, to benefit the Make-a-Wish Foundation of New York. Competitors
must be employed as full time (or retired) Law Enforcement Officers and their
guests. Come join us at Whiteface, the Olympic Mountain.
For the last seventeen years, the Northeastern Police Ski Championships
has raised over $ 223,000 for charities. Proceeds from this event will benefit the
Make-a-Wish Foundation. The Make-a-Wish Foundation is a non-profit
organization that grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical
conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. The
Make-a-Wish chapter selected will be from New York State.
