Future is a genre-melting hip-hop infused progressive rock band; featuring two extraordinary guitarists, a stellar rhythm section, vibrant young front-man and a phenomenal female vocalist/instrumentalist named Candice Mills. Together they deliver an energetic and connected performance every show. Future has a style drenched in eclecticism each musician adding their own influences to the "wall of sound" style of groove oriented vivid and elevating music. With over fifteen years of combined professional music experience Future uniquely delivers an experimentation of sound utilizing elements of Hip Hop, Reggae, Electronica and Rock Fusion. From outdoor festivals and underground clubs to premier music venues and sound-stages across the nation Future is cultivating a dedicated following of listeners who are as diverse as the band itself.
Armed with an intense live show, crushing rock anthems and deep reggae grooves, Murphy's Kids has been spreading a message of hope and self-reliance up and down the eastern seaboard since 1999. Having produced and sold over 2,500 copies of their first three EP's, Murphy's Kids has moved towards a more polished sound and approach culminating in 2009's release of their first full-length, entitled Departures, which was released on Community Records. Departures showcases the unrelenting energy and excitement of their live performances while deftly pairing it with concise and intelligent songwriting. Murphy's Kids have shared the stage with Soja, The Pietasters, Passafire, and more!
